October 2013 - Saratoga NY, Montreal Canada, Ottawa Canada, New York NY, and Hellertown PA
As always October was a busy month. We traveled north to Canada for my cousin's wedding and visited Saratoga and Montreal on our way to Ottawa. Rylea turned 8 and we celebrated with a trip to NYC and the American Girl store. Grandmama and Pop came to visit and James played more soccer.
James and Rylea outside of the Saratoga Battlefield visitor center overlooking the battlefield itself.
James acting as the American's, and our relative Epaphras Sage's unit, came up the hill to attack Balcarres Redoubt (marked by the posts).
Welcome to Canada!
A cool alleyway in Montreal that reminded us of the photo from Newport RI.
Walking around Old Port Montreal.
We had to try poutine, aka french fries with stuff on top.
Over in Ottawa for the wedding. James playing with his cousin Rhys in the hotel pool.
James and Rhys hugging at dinner.
Walking around downtown Ottawa the kids thought this was hilarious!
Posing with Parliment Hill in the background.
Court and the kids strolling down MacKenzie Ave.
Dressed up and looking good for the wedding.
A soccer game later in the season with the trees starting to change in Hellertown.
Rylea's 8th Birthday. She chose to go to the American Girl Store in NYC.
Posing with the girl of the year, Saige.
My attempt to replicate the photo from a few years back on our first visit to the American Girl Store in NYC.
Lunch across the street from FAO Schwarz.
J and Ry freaked out by Zoltar. He did make a young Tom Hanks old so I can understand their concern.
The Big Piano, also famous by the movie Big.
Birthday dinner back at the Highland Pub in Hellertown.
Happy Birthday to the sweetest girl ever.
All four of us.
Pop and Grandmama came to visit. Unfortunately I didn't take too many pictures but this is a good one of Pop helping Ry carve her pumpkin.
